Fresh off one of the most talked about shows all weekend at Electric Picnic, Hozier is among names today confirmed to be part of Guinness' new music initiative 'Amplify'.

Joining Hozier in the list of names revealed today will be fellow EP alumni London Grammar and Duke Dumont, as well as Rudimental, George Ezra and Dan Croll.

Guinness Amplify Live will offer Irish acts the opportunity to perform in hundreds of pubs all over Ireland (along with a few surprises!) from Thursday through to Sunday across 5 weekends, kicking off on the 11th September in Leinster and will rotate around Ireland, focusing on a different region each week over the course of the five weekends.

Previous names announced for the series of surprise shows to take place across the country include Kodaline, Ellie Goulding, Walking On Cars and Daithi, Bastille, Disclosure and Jess Glynne.

"Starting out as a musician can be daunting", Hozier said today.  "All you want to do is play to as many people as possible but that can often be a tough task. I was delighted to hear that Guinness Amplify is offering so many up and coming musicians the chance to gig in pubs. I’m really looking forward to playing as part of the line-up in the coming weeks."

In addition to the live shows, Amplify offers up n' coming Irish acts the chance to hone their craft in the company of industry professionals with the Guinness Amplify Studios & Workshops.
