Hozier's first album, titled 'Hozier', went platinum six times here in Ireland and one million copies worldwide, with 509,000 of these from the US. Since then, the singer-songwriter's spent four years touring on the road, releasing the 'Nina Cried Power' EP, featuring Mavis Staples.
That track eventually made its way on to none other than Barack Obama's best songs of 2018. The EP also featured 'Shrike', which will also appear on 'Wasteland, Baby' as one of its tracks.
