You know festival season is almost in full swing when you get emails every day announcing a gaggle of new acts who'll be coming to our shores over the course of the next few months.
This morning it's the turn of Indiependence out in Deer Farm in Mitchelstown who have announced that Hozier, The Minutes, Hudson Taylor, Dan Croll and Tvvins.
A strong homegrown contingent features as part of the new announcements too, with The Altered Hours, Elastic Sleep, The Vincent(s), Toy Soldier and Slow Motion Heroes joining Leeside legends already announced, Sultans of Ping. Codes, Acrobat, Atlantis Fire Department and Hunting the Braveare the final acts announced this morning.
Indiependence will take place over the August Bank Holiday Weekend and will be feature performances by Public Enemy, Tom Odell, White Lies, Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip, Delorentos, Lisa O'Neill and many more. Tickets are on sale now priced at just €99 for weekend camping.
