How's the summer looking for music? Here's a guide to the biggest gigs announced so far

Now that the most awful month of the year (aka January) is over and done with, it means that we can start looking ahead to warmer weather (chance would be a fine thing) and socialising outdoors in musical situations.

The summer gig calendar is already starting to fill up – so below, you'll find a handy guide to the gigs and festivals that have already been announced to date.

Of course, more gigs will be added in the coming months – such as Croke Park and Slane gigs, if any are taking place in 2016 - but we'll keep you informed of those via Music News, so stay tuned.
