One of the most enigmatic performers in all of music will be live on your TV screens at this weekend's Brit Awards. Prince, that diminutive force of nature, will present the evening's first award alongside his band 3rdEyeGirl as per the official Brits website.
Prince is currently touring around the UK playing live shows in smaller-than-you-might-expect venues, with little or notice in advance. He performed at the awards in 2006 and has won five awards to date but there is currently no indication whether he will perform this year - but we've seen stranger things happen at the Brit Awards, to be fair.
Confirmed performers this year include Pharrell Williams, Arctic Monkeys, Rudimental, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry and Ellie Goulding. The ceremony will be beamed to your home from the O2 in London and will be hosted by professional tux-wearer James Corden. Keep an eye on our website on Wednesday evening where we'll keep you completely up to date with all the happenings at Brits 2014.
