It's official, folks: we have reached peak hipster.
It was bound to happen sooner or later, but news of Bon Iver fans gathering in public places around the world to listen to the American band's new album on cassette have gone and done it.
The album in question, '22, A Million', is released today - but yesterday, they announced surprise events taking place in various cities around the world, including London, Melbourne, Mexico City and LA.
When fans got to the location at the dedicated time, they were greeted by a small stereo and a cassette playing the album, as well as free commemorative newsletters marking the occasion.
Even worse, they stayed and listened.
