Irish fans of hip-hop and DJ culture, take note - one of the biggest names in the business is playing Dublin next month.
Grandmaster Flash, the pioneering DJ who started out in The Bronx in the 1970s and helped to shape the sound of acts like The Sugarhill Gang and influenced many others, will play The Academy on April 8th.
He'll headline the main room at the venue's Circus club night, and tickets are €10 on the door, with an €8 cheaplist available on Facebook.
