Today's the day: the nominees for the RTE Choice Music Prize for Irish Album of the Year have been announced.
Below are the ten albums who'll battle it out on Thursday, March 8th to be crowned the creators of the best Irish album released in 2017. The ceremony will take place at Dublin's Vicar Street and will be broadcast live on RTE 2FM, while tickets for the show (performers TBC) are, as always, available to the public.
Last year, hip-hop trio Rusangano Family won for their album 'Let the Dead Bury the Dead', but which of these acts will follow in their footsteps, winning €10,000 and a nice bit of glassware for their mantelpiece?
