The Trinity Summer Series kicked off last night with Grace Jones strutting her stuff in the grounds of Dublin's most famous university - but if you missed it, the good news is that there's plenty more to come.

Popera heartthrobs Il Divo play tonight, while Rag 'n' Bone Man plays tomorrow, Bryan Ferry on Friday, Gavin James on Saturday and Imelda May on Sunday.

Q: Are there any age restrictions? A: Yes. These events are strictly 18 years and older, ID will be required for entry to each event. For the safety and enjoyment of all patrons, An Gardaí Siochana, Trinity and Promoters MCD request that all patrons undertake their responsibility to fully review and adhere to the age restrictions and conditions outlined here.

Q: Is here any important travel information I need to know?
A: The Promoter is not licensed to, nor do they operate any transport to and from the Trinity Concerts. Transport to and from the venue is a matter for individual ticket-holders themselves, whether you go by means of carpooling, Dart, Bus or Coach. We strongly urge all concert goers to heed the advices of An Garda Síochána, transport providers and promoters regarding the pre-planning and advance booking of their return trip to and from venue.

All event goers are encouraged to use public transport options - Bus, Rail, DART and LUAS – Trinity College is well serviced by public transport.

Q: Will there be parking available on the day of the concert at the venue for the public?
A: There will be no parking available in the areas in the immediate vicinity around the venue. If you must drive, please use city centre car parks.

The area is monitored by Dublin City Council Parking Enforcement and illegally parked cars may be clamped or towed away. All event goers are encouraged to use public transport options - Bus, Rail, DART and LUAS, which all bring you to within a 15 minute walk, or less, from Trinity College.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PARK ILLEGALLY IN AREAS SURROUNDING TRINITY COLLEGE. PARKING ENFORCEMENT RULES WILL BE IN OPERATION AND YOUR VEHICLE WILL BE CLAMPED OR TOWED.

Q: Can I bring a bag? Will my bag be searched? Will I be searched?
A: Searching is a condition of entry to protect your safety and that of others. Due to increased security measures, we strongly advise you allow sufficient time to get through security checks to gain entry to the venue in a safe and timely manner.

To ensure as smooth an access as possible and to avoid any unnecessary delays we strongly suggest that you bring as little as possible with you to the event and minimize jackets and additional layers when possible. To avoid disappointment do not bring backpacks or larger handbags, you may be refused admission to the venue without a refund. It is strongly advised that bags should be no larger than A4 size.

THERE WILL BE NO CLOAKROOM OR STORAGE FACILITIES ON SITE. BAGS MUST NOT BE LEFT AT ENTRANCES OR SURROUNDING AREAS. ANY ITEMS LEFT WILL BE REMOVED AND DISPOSED OF ACCORDINGLY.

We will conduct additional further security searches of clothing, bags and other items, as determined by us in our reasonable discretion, including on entry and exit.

Q: Can I take photographs at the concert?
A: Yes, small digital cameras are permitted. Please note that any camera with a long or detachable lens will be classified as a professional camera and these are not permitted. Video cameras & iPads are also not permitted. If you have any concerns, please email [email protected] to talk to our customer service team. Please note failure to abide by these rules will result in the prohibited item being confiscated and the Promoter will not be responsible for such items as there are no storage facilities available to accommodate same.

Q: Can I bring posters/banners to the concert?
A: Flag poles or sticks for banners are prohibited. Only small banners (A4 or A3 size) will be permitted into the event as anything larger can obstruct the views of other customers.

THE VENUE

 

Q: Which entrance do I take to enter the venue?
A: Please enter Trinity college park via Lincoln Gate and Science Gallery Gate. There will be no access via Front Archway or Nassau Street.

Q: Will I be able to purchase food and drink in the venue during the concert?
A: Yes, there will be a wide range of food and beverages available to buy. Please follow signage in venue for bar locations. Ask staff for assistance for staff if required or visit map in EvntzApp (www.evntzapp.ie)

Q: Can I bring my own food and drinks into the Venue?
A: No, but if any customers suffer from a condition that may require specific dietary requirements, please email [email protected] to talk to our customer service team to ensure there are no problems bringing those products in as otherwise they will be confiscated on entry.

Q: Can I purchase official merchandise at the concert?
A: Yes, there will be a number of merchandise outlets located around the venue. We would advise against purchasing any unofficial merchandise outside the venue. Ask staff for assistance for staff if required or visit map in EvntzApp (www.evntzapp.ie)

Q: Can I access cash facilities?
A: There are ATMs located around the vicinity of Trinity college. PLEASE NOTE: There is NO readmission to these events. In addition to this, all the bars will have a pay by card facility.

Q: What if I have a query that I would like to speak to someone in person about?
A: Please approach a steward and they will assist you accordingly and they will direct you to the nearest Customer Care point. Alternatively, please submit your query via EvntzApp (www.evntzapp.ie) and you will be responded to in Real Time.

Q: What if I or one of my guests feel unwell or have an accident?
A: There will be trained medical staff on duty. Please approach a steward who will direct you to the nearest first aid/medic point, these will be clearly signposted.

Q: Where will the stage be located?
A: Please refer to the map, located in the EvntzApp (www.evntzapp.ie). The stage will be located in college park. PLEASE NOTE: There will be no access Via Front Archway or Nassau Street. Please enter Trinity College Park through Lincoln Gate & Science Gallery Gate.

Q: What should I wear based on expected weather?
A: Please consult weather forecast and dress appropriately. In the case of rain being forecast please be advised that umbrellas are not allowed as they are prohibited items. These are open air events and will take place rain or shine.
