Hard Working Class Heroes has announced further details for the convention to take place during this October's showcase music & tech festival.

Taking place at the NDRC across the 2nd, 3rd & 4th of October, the convention will host some most exciting and influential figures working in the global music industry where they'll discuss  the opportunities and challenges for artists creating and performing music in 2014.

HWCH Convention 2014 is the biggest gathering of international and Irish music industry executives in Ireland this year, featuring strategists, A&R execs, festival bookers, agents, retailers, journalists and, of course, some of Ireland’s top artists.

Highlights of the Convention include: Jump Forward a Decade - The Music Industry in 2024 with speakers Fred Bolza, Sony Music’s Vice President of Strategy and Motive Unknown’s Founder Darren Hemmings who has worked on campaigns for Alt-J, Local Natives and Temper Trap among others; 10% for what now? Afternoon Tea with the Agents with speakers Nik Halroyd, Booking Agent, Primary Talent International, Jason Edwards, Booking Agent, Coda, and Eleanor McGuinness, Agent, Pitch and Smith; and Scouts Honor with speakers Markel Casey, A&R Virgin EMI and Tom Cater of Domino with others to be announced.
