Hard Working Class Heroes, Ireland's biggest and best showcase festival for emerging music and technology, has put out a call for submissions to this year's festival.

The annual festival will take place across the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of October (Thurs to Sat). HWCH was once 'just' a music showcase but in recent years has extended its reach to help drive on Ireland's developing technology market with a host of talks, showcases and panels to take place throughout the festival aimed at expanding the opportunities available to Irish start-ups.

HWCH Technology will provide opportunities for a selected number of start-up companies, to pitch to venture capitals and investors over the weekend as well as have access to mentoring, panels and tip sessions the same way bands have over the past ten years.

HWCH are currently accepting band and tech submissions over on their website and anyone looking to get involved should do so in advance of the closing date of July 16th.

We'll bring you all the music & tech information for this year's festival as soon as we have it but in the mean time, we'd recommend that you grab yourself an early bird ticket for just €35 (plus booking fee) and they'll be available 'til July 16th also. Weekend Tickets will then be on sale for €45.00 plus fees, while Nightly Tickets will set you back €20 plus fees.
