Super Furry Animals frontman (and solo artist in his own right, of course) Gruff Rhys is no stranger to concept songs or albums, but has rarely got political with his music.

Yet it seems that the Welshman feels so strongly about Britain staying in the EU that he's written a song about it ahead of the referendum on June 23rd.

As he explains: "This song genuinely came to me in a daydream whilst I was trying to tune in my faulty DAB radio. I heard a snippet of news about this badly timed referendum on staying in/leaving the EU and suddenly it hit me hard how much I'd miss it if the UK managed inexplicably to kick itself out. It's basically just an attempt to make an emotional case for Mother Europe - this flawed, fantastic, potentially Utopian mega-club that I've been lucky enough to grow up in.”
