Groove Festival, which takes place in the grounds of Kilruddery House in Bray, Co. Wicklow has announced its first headliners.

The 2016 edition takes place on Saturday July 2nd and Sunday July 3rd, and it has been announced that Ocean Colour Scene, The Blades and special guests Aslan are the three main attractions this year.

The Blades, who reformed in 2013 after a 17-year hiatus, will headline on Saturday with support from Aslan.

English indie band Ocean Colour Scene, who always have a big Irish fanbase, will headline on Sunday, with support from Neville Staple of The Specials.

Further acts have yet to be announced, of course, but tickets priced €49.50 for a day or €74.50 for a weekend pass will go on sale on Thursday 11th February at 9am from www.groovefestival.ie or www.tickets.ie.
