She wowed Irish crowds at Electric Picnic last year, and now the incomparable Grace Jones will return to Irish shores for a gig in Dublin next month.
The show, which will take place at the Olympia Theatre on September 21st, is no ordinary gig, however: it's being filmed for the forthcoming documentary 'GRACE JONES - THE MUSICAL OF MY LIFE', which is being directed by Sophie Fiennes, has been in the works since 2005 and is scheduled for release next year. The film is co-produced by Katie Holly of Irish company Blinder Films.
Tickets for the gig are from €45 including booking fee, and on sale from usual outlets this Friday at 9am.
As it's being filmed, there are a few caveats:
- Over 18s only, ID required.
- Absolutely no video recording, audio recording or photography allowed.
- In purchasing a ticket and entering the concert you consent to your voice and likeness being recorded, you agree to any subsequent use of such recording without either compensation or credit and assign to Sligoville Limited the right to use the recording in all media, worldwide, in perpetuity. You hereby discharge Sligoville Limited and its successors from any liability on account of such exploitation and usage. If you do not wish to be filmed subject to these terms, please do not buy a ticket and do not enter the concert.
