Fans of The Frames or Swell Season who are hoping for another album may have to wait a little bit longer as Glen Hansard has just announced his third solo album.
Following on from 'Rhythm & Repose' and 'Didn't He Ramble' is 'Between Two Shores', which will be released on January 19th, 2018.
It was recorded mainly at his former Frames bandmate Dave Odlum's Black Box Studios in France, but also in New York and Chicago. Alongside collaborators Thomas Bartlett, Brad Albetta and Rob Moose, Hansard's touring band - Joseph Doyle, Rob Bochnik, Graham Hopkins, Justin Carroll, Michael Buckley, Ronan Dooney and Curtis Fowlkes - also feature prominently.
He plays Vicar Street on December 17th and 18th and you can hear lead single 'Time Will Be the Healer' below:
