Following her recent Oxegen performance, BBC Sound of 2010 winner Ellie Goulding has announced her return to Ireland for November. Having played her debut Irish show in the Academy in March, this time Ellie will visit Galway's Roisin Dubh on November 29th and Dublin's Tripod on November 30th and  on Tickets priced €27 and €24.50 respectively (bit steep, no?) go on sale this Friday July 23rd at 9am.

Mumford and Sons have been added to the line up for Belfast's Open House Festival. Marcus and co. will play the Festival Marquee in Custom House Square on September 6th, with support from Lissie and Andrew Davie.

Guillemots frontman Fyfe Dangerfield is set for a solo show at The Academy on Sunday October 3rd. Dangerfield will be performing tracks from his debut solo album 'Fly Yellow Moon' which was released earlier this year. Tickets priced €20 are on sale now.

Following the release of their third album 'Field Music (Measure)' back in February, Sunderland indie outfit Field Music are set to play Dublin's Crawdaddy on Thursday September 9th. Tickets priced €14 are on sale now.

Art-rockers Liars will bring their latest album 'Sisterworld' to Whelan's on August 11th. Tickets priced €15 are available from tickets.ie, City Discs, Sound Cellar, and sadly only until its closure on Saturday, Road Records.

San Fransisco band Train return after a three year hiatus to play Dublin's Vicar St on October 18th. Tickets priced €23 go on sale this Thursday July 22nd at 9am.

Elsewhere, Donovan will play at Dublin's Olympia Theatre on Wednesday October 6th (€29-€33.60), Heathers have lined up a date in Castlebar's Royal Theatre on Sunday August 1st (€10), and General Fiasco are heading out on a nationwide tour, the dates of which are as follows:
