We could be set for another bout of music nostalgia in the very near future with the news that Geri Halliwell has been talking about a potential Spice Girls reunion to celebrate (in a loose definition of that word, obviously) Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee in the summer.
This comes only a short time after Mel B had made a statement of her own hinting at the same. However it is thought that Victoria Beckham will not be a part of any reunion, preferring to stay in California with her family.
Halliwell told the Sunday Mirror: "We did get the offer and it is exciting. Obviously we are a band and it's a collective decision that has to be made as a band. Performing at Buckingham Palace for the Queen - it doesn't get bigger than that."
Halliwell also announced that she will be releasing a solo album before the end of 2012.
