Well would you look at who has come crawling back? After the controversial #Garthgate of 2014 (you MAY remember it), when Garth Brooks pulled out of his five nights in Croke Park after residents protested, it looks like the country singer is now hoping to return following the success of Bruce Springsteen's two concerts over the weekend.
A source told the Irish Sun; “The message we got from Garth’s people is we need to talk urgently and get these Irish concerts sorted soon.
"So much that went wrong before with Garth’s concerts was down to officialdom in Ireland so to have the Taoiseach making such a public show of how he was enjoying a concert at Croke Park is significant."
Who knew Enda's air guitar and dad dancing could have such an impact?
Aiken Promotions have said however that there are no plans at the moment for a concert, and given that Croke Park has already used up their designated three concerts for the year, (with Beyonce taking the third concert in July), it would be next year at the earliest when any plans could be put into motion.
2017... we may JUST be ready to forgive and forget by then.
