With Record Store Day on the horizon, a number of acts have announced their plans for one-off and special edition/limited releases on the day.

Record Store Day takes place on April 18th and is a celebration of independent record shops around the world, with the intention of driving more people into them with the aforementioned releases on vinyl, special giveaways and inshore performances.

Dave Grohl is the official ambassador of RSD 2015, and Foo Fighters will release a 10" collection of demos and previously unheard tracks, 'Songs from the Laundry Room'.

Johnny Marr will release his cover of Depeche Mode's 'I Feel You' on 7" (which you can hear below) and its b-side will be a live version of The Smiths' song 'Please, Please, Please, Let Me Get What I Want'.

Mumford and Sons will release their new single 'Believe' on 7", David Bowie will release 'Changes' on 7" clear vinyl, while U2 will release 'Songs of Innocence' on vinyl. The first-ever 'Now That's What I Call Music!' compilation will also be released on vinyl, while Noel Gallagher will release a collection of remixes of his single 'In the Heat of the Moment' on 12".
