Flowers have been lain and candles lit at a mural of David Bowie in his hometown, Brixton in London, as tributes to the late musician continue to pour in.
The artwork, which depicts Bowie's 'Aladdin Sane' persona, is on the side of Morley's on Brixton Road.

The nearby Ritzy cinema has also paid tribute to Bowie with a message on their billboard:

It has also been announced that Dublin venue The Grand Social - which hosted the first Dublin Bowie Festival just this past weekend - will host a gathering of fans from 6pm this evening. There will be Bowie music and videos shown and played as an unofficial continuation of the festival.
They posted on their Facebook page:
"After such an amazing weekend here at the DUBLIN BOWIE FESTIVAL we are in in total shock at todays news. David Bowies music entranced millions of lives and we here at The Grand Social are massive fans. In response to requests from people who attended the Festival and those who travelled over from the UK and Europe for the festival and are still in Dublin we are holding a gathering in the venue from 6pm tonight to celebrate the legends life & times. Rest In Peace David xxx"
