Fleetwood Mac will tour and release a new album in 2009, according to guitarist Lindsey Buckingham.
The band's last album was 2003's 'Say You Will', but Buckingham, who releases his fifth solo album 'Gift of Screws' in September, reportedly told a journalist that the band will enter the studio in January, and tour next year.
He denied, however, that Sheryl Crow would be joining the band, despite Crow claiming earlier this year that she would be working with them in 2009. Buckingham admitted that the rumour mill went into overdrive on the matter, even though nothing had been agreed, and that the idea 'just kind of lost its momentum'.
