The first cut from Michael Jackson's upcoming posthumous release Xscape has made it's debut online. It's something of a generational collide too, with the disco-infused track featuring guest vocals from none other than Justin Timberlake. Listen to 'Love Never Felt So Good' above.
Xscape is Jackson's second release since his death in June 2009. Various vocal tracks that Michael worked on throughout the latter part of his career were arranged and produced by frequent Jacko collaborator Rodney Jerkins, as well as Timbaland and Stargate.
Speaking to Page6, A&R exec Aaron Reid elaborated on the project and explained why they had so many vocal tracks to work from. "Michael Jackson didn't trust anyone with his music", he said. "He stopped finishing songs. He had a whole bunch of material stored away. He had books. He had verses. Then we put it together."
In addition to Timberlake, the record also features contributions from D'Angelo, ?uestlove and Mary J. Blige.
