Norman Cook and his best known alter-ego Fatboy Slim, have announced a date at Marlay Park this August. With support from special guests David Guetta, Dizzee Rascal and Calvin Harris, this is likely to be one of the biggest gigs of the summer.

Cook hasn't released an album as Fatboy Slim since 2004's Palookaville, but a collaboration with David Byrne, entitled Here Lies Love, is due for release later on this year. Featuring no less than 22 guest vocalists, it is a concept album about the life of Imelda Marcos, the former First Lady of the Philippines, and her relationship with a servant from her childhood.

Fatboy Slim plays Marlay Park on Bank Holiday Sunday, August 2nd. Tickets priced €69.50 go on sale next Thursday April 30th at 9am.
