QUESTION: Is this your most ambitious album?
GARY LIGHTBODY: "It is our most ambitious album by far, we went into the studio with a completely new way of thinking about the way we make music, the way we want to hear our music, they we wanna approach everything and we wanted to make a more expansive record. We wanted to make a sonically expansive, lyrically expansive record that starts in my family home and ends in L.A, you know, in terms of lyrics; it’s a journey all the way through, not that it’s a concept album in any way but it does take you on that journey. Yeah, so in terms of ambition, it’s the most ambitious we’ve ever been."
