As Longitude kicks off in little over 24 hours, (altogether now: 'eeeek!') we've just gotten our mitts on the vital information that you'll need to ensure you have nothing but a whale of a time this weekend. And remember, safety first kids.
Dates and GatesL Friday 19th July, Saturday 20th July, Sunday 21st July - Gates 13:30hrs each day. All concerts will finish at 23:00hrs.
DO:
Dress appropriately and always check the weather forecast before setting off. If the sun is shining bring plenty of sun cream, a sun hat and don’t forget it may get cooler later in the evening.
Searching will take place on entry to the event please leave time for ticket checks and searches.
Note that if you are or perceived to be intoxicated you will be refused entry to the concert even if you hold a valid ticket. Intoxication through alcohol or drugs, any form of antisocial behaviour, Crowd Surfing or Moshing will not be tolerated. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse admission to or remove from the venue anyone taking part in these activities without a refund.
Note you must be able to prove your age with photo ID or you will be refused admission.
Acceptable forms of proof are:
Passport, Garda Age Card, Student ID Card
We reserve the right refuse admission without a refund if you cannot prove your age.
No unaccompanied under 16’s are allowed on site. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult over 18, who will need to sign for and take responsibility for them for the duration of the event.
There is no re-admission at these concerts.
Respect the property and privacy of residents in the vicinity of Marlay Park.
For your own safety please co-operate with stewards and Gardaí and follow any loudspeaker announcements.
For your own and the safety of others please move slowly and quietly when exiting the Concert site and co-operate with stewards’ directions.
Note that catering and bar facilities are available inside the venue. NO ALCOHOL OR FOOD is permitted to be brought into the venue. Sealed bottles of water <500ml can be brought into the arena.
Photo proof of age is required for sale of alcohol.
Note that official merchandising will be available inside the grounds only.
Note that the concert is being recorded for visual and audio broadcast.
Note location of Entry / Exit Gates, Emergency Exits, First Aid Posts and Water Points.
Wear bright clothes or luminous armbands if you are walking in the dark.
Keep to lit exit routes when exiting the Park.
DO NOT:
Bring garden furniture, deckchairs, fold up chairs or shooting sticks.
Drive to the event. There is no concert parking at the venue.
Do not park illegally. Towing in operation.
Do not buy tickets from unofficial sources.
Do not bring umbrellas, flagpoles or alcohol into the grounds. These will be confiscated at the ticket barriers.
Do not bring illegal substances, weapons or anything that can be reasonably considered a weapon to this event.
Do not rush the exits after the concert.
Do not bring professional cameras or recording equipment into the grounds.
Do not crowd surf or mosh, as you will be removed from the venue without refund.
Do not walk on unlit routes when exiting Marlay Park.
Do not bring alcohol to Marlay Park. It will be confiscated and disposed of accordingly both at the park gates and within the park.

TRANSPORT:
Concert Shuttle Bus
THERE IS LIMITED PARKING AT THE VENUE.
THE SHUTTLE BUS IS THE MOST DIRECT FORM OF TRANSPORT TO THE CONCERT AS THE DROP OFF POINT IS DIRECTLY OUTSIDE THE VENUE. THE SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE WILL OPERATE FOR ALL CONCERTS FROM CUSTOM HOUSE QUAY IN THE CITY CENTRE DIRECT TO MARLAY PARK. NOTE THIS IS A RETURN SERVICE ONLY.
The shuttle bus will leave from Custom House Quay at 13:00, 14:00, 15:00, 16:00, 17:00, 18:00, and 19:00.
The buses will return to the City Centre from 22:00 each day.

Private Hire Coaches
Please check with your local Ticketmaster agent for information on Private Coaches serving the concert.
Private Coach Operators will follow the directions of Gardai and drop passengers on College Road. There will be a limited amount of designated coach parking on site. It is advised that persons travelling by private coach agree with the driver where to collect from after the concerts, if possible it would be worth exchanging contacts.
Travelling by Car
PLAN YOUR APPROACH TO MARLAY PARK BASED ON THE FOLLOWING:
Traffic and parking delays are inevitable you are strongly advised to use public transport or carpool.
We strongly recommend you plan your journey in advance and allow plenty of extra travel time to and from the venue. Plan your route in advance and check the AA Roadwatch website for reports on traffic, road works, delays, etc. on your route. For the latest live show day traffic updates telephone AA Roadwatch 1550 131 811 (AA Roadwatch premium rates apply) or tune into RTÉ 2fm.
RECOMMENDED ROUTES:
From Dublin city centre –
via Ranelagh, Clonskeagh, Goatstown, Sandyford, Grange Road and then onto College Road for car-parks.
From the M50 -
Option 1 - exit M50 at Junction 12 Interchange, signposted R823, Ballyboden.
Follow Scholarstown Road, Taylor’s Lane, turn right onto Whitechurch Road and then left onto College Road. Entrance to car-parks is off College Road.
Option 2 – exit M50 at Junction 13 Interchange (Dundrum).
Follow Brehonfield Road R133, direction Rathfarnham. Turn left at Naomh Eoin GAA Club onto R822 (signposted Ticknock). Turn right at traffic lights at Taylor’s Three Rock Pub onto College Road R113.
Entrance to car-parks is off College Road.
PLEASE NOTE:
THERE IS LIMITED PARKING AVAILABLE IN MARLAY PARK.
