Having been forced to cancel his Red Piano Tour show at The O2 last year, Elton John has finally gotten around to scheduling a visit to Ireland. And he's bringing respected drummer and percussionist Ray Cooper with him.

Ray Cooper first worked with Elton in August of 1971, on the Madman Across The Water album, and first joined him on stage at the Royal Festival Hall show six months later. He is also known for his work with Pink Floyd, Sting, George Harrison and Eric Clapton.

Elton John and Ray Copper are set to perform together again at The O2 on December 15th 2010. This will be the first time Elton & Ray have performed together in Ireland since their legendary appearances in 1979 when they played 2 Shows at the National Stadium in Dublin and 2 Shows at the Whitla Hall in Belfast.

Tickets will be priced €65.70, €86.25, €96.25, €106.25 fully seated and go on sale Thursday 1st July at 9am
