Elton John has told the LA Times that he wants Justin Timberlake to play him in a biopic of his life, confirming that his Rocketman project is still in the works, with Billy Elliot scribe Lee Hall set to pen the script and Justin Timberlake his "number one" choice to play John on the big screen.
John said of Timberlake: "I've got a wishlist of people. Number one on my wish list is Justin Timberlake, because he played me before in a David LaChapelle video of 'Rocket Man' and was superb.
