The BBC have been announcing the top five acts on their Sound of 2010 poll over the course of this week, and this morning they revealed that this year's winner is Welsh electro-pop singer Ellie Goulding.
Here at entertainment.ie, we're delighted to see Ellie named BBC Sound of 2010. She's already won the Brit Awards Critic's Choice award for 2010. We're in love with everything streaming on her myspace page (check out her beautiful cover of Bon Iver's 'Wolves') and massively looking forward to her debut album 'Lights' which is set for release on February 26th.
Meanwhile, Marina and the Diamonds bagged second place, Delphic came in third, while Hurts and The Drums were fourth and fifth respectively.
Below you can see Ellie Goulding performing her debut single 'Under The Sheets' on Later Live... With Jools Holland.
