Those of you who weren't fortunate enough to catch Ed Sheeran's secret-ish show in a packed Vicar Street last week will no doubt to be delighted to learn that you've got another chance to see the flame-haired troubadour in person, when Ed plays a FOURTH successive date in The O2 later this year.
In addition to the previously announced gigs on 4th, 5th and 6th of October, Ed will now also play the same venue on the 3rd after an extra date was added to the tour due to the massive public demand for tickets. Tickets for the new date will go on sale this Friday at 9am from usual outlets nationwide.
All of this is in support of Sheeran's new album 'x' (pronounced 'Multiply') which will see a release next month - an album which was principally written while on tour supporting his massively successful debut '+'. The Pharrell-produced lead single 'Sing' was the number one trend on Twitter globally ahead of launch with the track immediately tearing up airwaves nationwide. The audio upload on YouTube was Ed’s biggest ever video launch, clocking in an impressive 650k views in its first 24 hours.
