Dublin's top private members' club gets a name change

Following the completion of a six-year naming rights agreement with Audi Ireland, the 3 Arena have taken the decision to bring the brand back in-house, and have relaunched it as the 1878 Club.

1878 refers to the year the original building at the site of the 3 Arena was built. The original building was used as a rail terminus for the Midland and Great Western Railway Company. With a nod to the building’s past as a point of departure and a reference to the journey through history it has made, the 1878 continues to provide the backdrop to journeys – now the musical and inspirational journeys created by the world-class acts, performers and musicians welcomed to 3Arena.

The 1878 Club is one of two private members clubs in the 3 Arena, the Premium Club being the other. The 3 Arena is consistently named one of the top 10 busiest venues in the world, and both The 1878 Club and The Premium Club are Designed for clients and guests who appreciate the finer things in life.
Plush, with a décor of rich jewel tones and leather and suede armchairs and sofas, access to the 1878 is via a private entrance, while The Premium Club at 3Arena offers a more accessible club experience with a vibrant, funky and contemporary interior.
