Ahead of the release of 'Something for Everybody,' their first studio album in twenty years, new wave legends Devo have revealed that they will make a cameo appearance in the 100th episode of comedy science fiction animation Futurama.
The band will feature in an episode called 'The Mutants Are Revolting', which is set to air in the US on September 2nd. They will be seen campaigning for mutant rights, having become mutants themselves.
'Something For Everybody' is Devo's first album since 1990's 'Smooth Noodle Maps'. The group told NME that they recorded the album in part because their concept of de-evolution is now "more real than ever". It is due for release in Ireland this Friday June 11th.
