Arguably the song of the summer, Despacito has now crossed two major milestones today.
The original video, minus Justin Bieber's remix, has managed to cross three billion views - 3,021,564,095 as of writing - which makes it the first music video to do so. This in turn means that it's now the most-viewed music video on YouTube, surpassing Wiz Khalifa's See You Again and Psy's Gangam Style.
Not only that, Despacito is now the most-liked music video and, simultaneously, the tenth most-disliked music video on the service as well. The remix with Justin Bieber has been No.1 on the USCharts for the past twelve weeks, which is basically the whole summer when you think about it.
As well as this, Despacito is the first Spanish-language song to reach No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 since 1996's Macarena, with Los Del Rio.
With that in mind, here's Macarena. They need the views, people.
