Delorentos, The Minutes and We Cut Corners are confirmed for the launch JD Roots, a new music initiative by Jack Daniels, which aims to celebrate the influence of home towns on the music and character of some of the most exciting and talked about bands on the current music scene and a once-off free live performance from the above bands in The Button Factory on Friday 18th May will celebrate this.
In what promises to be an intriguing process, the three bands will collaborate for the first time over the coming months to explore artists and songs from their home town, Dublin which have inspired and influenced their musical style and direction. The bands will then perform a selection of songs from their own set lists as well as a selection by Dublin artists who have made the greatest impact on them and their music. This unique show - the first and possibly only time all three acts will perform on the same stage together - is sure to make its own contribution to Dublin’s rich and evolving music scene.
