There's a joke in there about David Bowie having a face like leather and Louis Vuitton bags. The Thin White Duke has signed on to star in an advertising campaign for the fashion designer and was spotted filming in Venice early on in the summer. Bowie, who's in the running for a Mercury Prize, will be starring in the "L'Invitation au Voyage" alongside fashion model Arizona Muse.
Other musicians lined up for the Louis Vuitton campaign include Madonna and Keith Richards. Again, something to do with leather and these people and you've got a joke. It's after Arthur's Day. We're a bit on the slow side today. According to bookmakers, Bowie's album The Next Day is getting odds of 4/1 to win the Mercury Prize and is tied with Arctic Monkeys' AM album.
