Dave Grohl has gotten together with the Scissor Sisters to ridicule the kinds of outlandish lawsuits that musicians are often faced with. They are doing so in the form of a viral video, in which Grohl mockingly claims to be suing Scissor Sisters after having been exposed to one of frontman Jake Shears' testicles during a live performance.
The spoof takes the form of a special news report on "Scissor Sisters Television", in which the Foo Fighters frontman and former Nirvana drummer is reported to be suing the band for "emotional distress". The video reports, "Mr. Grohl says life has not been the same since the incident. He says that flashbacks of that night occur regularly, and leave him with bouts of anxiety, panic, chills and explosive diarrhoea". For this, Grohl is looking for $75 million in damages from from the band, as well as its management, label and wardrobe department, Ticketmaster, and the venue.
