The Foo Fighters brought out an extra-special guest performer at a concert in Los Angeles at the weekend.
Dave Grohl and Nandi Bushell finally met in person one year after their virtual introduction. You might remember back in the depths of the pandemic that there was one glimmer of sunlight shining onto our phone and laptop screens; it was the story of a 10-year-old girl who managed to catch the attention of millions of people online with her take on the Foo Fighters track 'Everlong'.
Posting her fine drumming skills on Twitter, Bushell tweeted back in August last year: "My dream is to one day jam with Dave Grohl". And now it's finally happened in person.
Following a virtual drum battle between the pair of them, Dave Grohl and Nandi Bushell (now 11-years-old) managed to take to the stage together at The Forum in Los Angeles last Friday night as part of a Foo Fighters concert.
The crowd at the event began to go wild when Grohl said his friends were texting him about "someone challenging me to a drum-off", telling him he needs to "step up".
He then said what is probably the greatest compliment anyone could receive - which is quite the feat for an 11-year-old to achieve. Grohl told the audience: "We've had the honour to jam with some pretty amazing people over the years. Some Beatles, some [Rolling] Stones, some Pink Floyds. But this one right here takes the cake."
Welcoming her out onto the stage, Bushell greeted the hundreds in attendance while dressed in her red and black flannel shirt before sitting down behind her sparkly pink drum kit and nailing her performance with the band.
Here's the full performance between Dave Grohl and his "arch-nemesis" Nandi Bushell.
