Dave Grohl delivered a keynote speech at the SXSW festival currently taking place in Austin, Texas, during which he revealed that PSY's 'Gangnam Style' is "truthfully...one of my favourite songs of the past decade."

Grohl touched on a wide range of subject throughout the course of the 50 minute talk, including his band. "Finding a good band name is the hardest f**king part. Foo Fighters is the stupidest f**king name."

When questioned about his former band Nirvana, and specifically Kurt Cobain, Grohl said of his death: "I was lost. I was numb. The music I had devoted my life to had now betrayed me. I turned off the radio, I put away my drums."

Dave Grohl's first directorial effort, a documentary about the history of the Sound City recording studios, is currently playing in Irish cinemas.
