The dates for the Choice Music Prize for Irish Album and Song of the Year 2015 have been announced.

The shortlist of ten albums for Irish Album of the Year will be announced on Wednesday, January 6th while the shortlist for Irish Song of the Year will be announced on Wednesday, January 27th. A special event featuring performances from nominees in both the album and song categories will be held at Dublin's Workman's Club that night.

It also looks like the Prize is not sponsored by Meteor and is instead 'in association with IMRO & IRMA', who are both contributing to the €10,000 prize fund that the Album of the Year winner will pick up.

The ceremony itself will take place at Dublin's Vicar Street on Thursday, March 3rd and will be broadcast live on Paul McLoone's Today FM show that night.
