It would seem that Lana Del Rey has cast a spell on Daniel Radcliffe. The Harry Potter actor has sprung to the defense of Del Rey after widespread criticism of her performances on last weekend's Saturday Night Live, a show which Radcliffe hosted.
Del Rey performed two songs on the live broadcast 'Blue Jeans' and 'Video Games' but was criticised for what many saw to be a below-par performance. Radcliffe was quoted by BBC as saying: "It was unfortunate that people seemed to turn on her so quickly. I also think that people are making it about things other than the performance."
Actress and musician Juliette Lewis was among those who were left unimpressed by Del Rey's SNL performance, slating the 'Born To Die' singer for "pretending to sing and perform" on her Twitter page.
Lana Del Rey releases her debut album Born To Die on January 30th.
