He recently played a couple of sold out gigs at Dublin's Iveagh Gardens, but it seems that there's a huge appetite for Damien Dempsey in the capital.
The Donaghmede man has just announced six nights at Dublin's Vicar Street this December, continuing his annual tradition of playing pre-Christmas shows at the hallowed venue.
The festive run will take him right up until just before Christmas - with dates planned for December 16th, 17th, 19th, 20th, 22nd and 23rd.
It'll cap off a hugely successful year for Dempsey, whose 'Songs from the Holywell' show at the Abbey Theatre was critically acclaimed.
Tickets for the Vicar Street gig are on sale this Friday, July 28th at 10am.
