The recent rumours of a Daft Punk tour in 2017 may have been uncovered as an elaborate hoax thanks to some website-building trickster with too much time on their hands, but it looks like the French duo are gearing up for some activity in 2017, at least.
The helmet-wearing pair will play this year's Grammy awards alongside The Weeknd, with whom they collaborated on his recent album 'Starboy'.
The news has led to some speculation amongst fans that they will use the high-profile gig as a platform to announce their own comeback.
Their last album was 2014's 'Random Access Memories', so if they're not touring we're at least due to hear some new music.
Other performers lined up for the Grammys on February 12th include Anderson .Paak, Dave Grohl, Alicia Keys and A Tribe Called Quest, who join the previously-announced Adele, John Legend, Metallica and more.
Of course, we won't be catching a glimpse of Kanye, Bieber or Drake, who have allegedly shunned the ceremony.
