As you'll no doubt have heard, tomorrow is Culture Night – which means that there are hundreds of free cultural perfornances and activities taking place in venues all around the country.

The capital city is especially abundant with choice this year, and we've listed the main musical events taking place in Dublin below.

IMRO HQ on Pembroke Street: Gavin James performs live at 7pm

Meeting House Square, Temple Bar: RTE Radio 1's arts show Arena broadcasts live from 7pm - 10pm, with performances from Lisa Lambe, Fiach Moriarty, baritone Simon Morgan, raditional groups Moxie, Enda O’Reilly, Aoife Scott, Tara Erraught with the RTE Concert Orchestra, The Rowsome Uilleann Piping Quartet - plus, comedy, theatre and more.

Smithfield Square: BlueFire host live music, performances and workshops

Various locationsA walking tour of U2's Dublin (booked out)

Christchurch Cathedral: Music recitals from 7pm, including a performance by soprano Celine Byrne at 8.30pm

Outside Smock Alley Theatre, Cow's Lane: A choral recital by Diva Voces

DIT Conservatory of Music & Drama, Chatham Row: Performances by staff and students from 6pm - 9pm 

Fumbally Exchange, Dame Lane: Performance by singer-songwriter Grainne Hunt at 7.30pm

OurFarm @ NCAD, Thomas Street: Performances by Ajo Arkestra and Le Galaxie from 7pm - 10pm

Pavilion Theatre, Dun Laoghaire: Performance by Lisa O'Neill at 7pm and screening of Sigur Rós documentary 'Heima' at 10.15pm

National Concert Hall, Earlsfort Terrace: Baritone Benjamin Appl with the RTÉ NSO and conductor Alan Buribayev for Mahler and Dvorak recitals

Trinity College, Dublin: RTE Philharmonic Choir outdoor performance at the Campanile at 6pm and Stomptown Brass performance at the same location at 6.30pm

Tower Records, Dawson Street: Music documentary screenings from 5pm - 8pm in the Sound Bites cafe

Windmill Lane Recording Studios: Tours from 6pm - 10pm and live performances by three acts TBC
