It’s been a big year for Irish artist CMAT, who is well on her way to conquering the world.
After winning the Choice Music Prize for Irish Album of the Year 2022 for her debut ‘If My Wife New I’d Be Dead’, Ciara Mary Alice Thompson spent the summer conquering Europe via the festival circuit and putting the finishing touches to her second album.
‘Crazymad, For Me’ is released on October 13th and CMAT released the first single from it earlier this week, ‘Where Are Your Kids Tonight?’, which features none other than John Grant.
The song (and video) has caught the attention of none other than Robbie Williams, who tweeted that it was ‘majestic’.
CMAT may have already been on Williams’ radar, however, as her song ‘Lonely’ features the line “God I bet if there was a god / I'd be killing him / But who needs god / When I have Robbie Williams?”

In any case, a collaboration down the line is surely inevitable…
