It's been almost four years since Bruno Mars released his last album 'Unorthodox Jukebox', but he's planning its follow-up for 2016.

A lot has changed since Mars released his second album - most notably, 'Uptown Funk' making him an even bigger global star - so the pressure is on for album number three.

However, he's reportedly set to unveil the first of his new music later this month, according to his dad, Pete Hernandez.

"It was due in March, but by doing the Super Bowl, it threw him back several months,' he told Press Reader. "Bruno has seven great new songs - I've heard 'em - but the album should now be released in September or October, to qualify for next year's Grammy Awards."
