It's been a highly emotional and challenging year for Britney Spears but after all the hardship she's been forced through, a happy ending is in sight.
Last weekend, it emerged that Britney Spears' father Jamie filed documents to end his conservatorship over his daughter.
Now more good news has arrived for the singer.
She took to Instagram to share the news that she's become engaged to her boyfriend Sam Asghari.
She shared a video of fawning over the ring and over Sam.
Britney captioned the video: "I can't f---ing believe it," adding six ring emojis, and a heart.
Sam Asghari, who is an actor and personal trainer, shared a picture on his Instagram announcing their engagement too.
Britney Spears and Sam Asghari met on the set of her music video for "Slumber Party" and have been dating since October 2016.
Brandon Cohen, Asghari's manager, said in a statement that he was "proud to celebrate and confirm the engagement."
"The couple made their long-standing relationship official today and are deeply touched by the support, dedication and love expressed to them," Cohen added.
NY jeweller Roman Malayev designed the $70K ring, Cohen revealed.
"He couldn’t be happier to be involved and make this one-of-a-kind ring," said Cohen.
