Queen's Brian May has written about his hatred of BBC's televised talent show The Voice. The 65-year-old music legend wrote on his website that the show is "dull, dumb and depressing" and hopes that it "dies very soon".
"Sorry, hate to be negative, but it's the ultimate insult to music and to performers", May wrote.
"Every time I catch a glimpse of a young singer busting their guts trying to win somebody's attention...I feel sick. I hope this vile show dies a natural death very soon."
The show, which is hosted by Reggie Yates and Holly Willoughby, boasts stars such as Tom Jones, Danny O'Donoghue, will.i.am and Jessie J on the judging panel and Jones' participation irks May even further.
"I hate seeing the great Tom Jones shoehorned into this scenario", he said.
The winner of The Voice will receive a £100,000 prize, as well as a recording deal with Universal.
