It's been twenty years since Brian Kennedy released his second album 'A Better Man', and he plans to celebrate it with a gig at Dublin's Vicar Street later this year.

The Belfast man is also marking his 50th birthday this year, so it'll be a bigger celebration than ever.

He said: "I can’t think of a better way for me to turn 50 and my ‘Better Man’ album to turn 20 in front of a live audience in one of Dublin’s finest venues. I would love it if my fans joined me for what will hopefully be an unforgettable night.”

The bash, which will see him play the album in its entirety, will take place on October 13th at Vicar Street.

Tickets are €28 including booking fee, and on sale from usual outlets next Thursday, April 28th at 9am.
