Are Brian Johnson and Phil Rudd back in AC/DC? At least one of them is...
News coming in from LA heavy metal/punk band Terrorizer, is that they bumped into Brian Johnson at an airport, and he seemed to confirm he was involved with AC/DC's new album.
Taking to Facebook, the band told fans, "We ran into Brian Johnson from AC/DC at the airport today after the flight home and we asked him about the rumours of him being on the new AC/DC album.
"He said, 'Yes' and that he is 'sick of denying it'. So that was a cool surprise ending to the tour."
That's one hell of a "cool surprise" alright. Johnson hasn't been in AC/DC since 2016, after he was forced to quit due to suffering from hearing loss. Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose took over as his replacement to finish their 'Rock or Bust' world tour.
Last year, there were rumours the iconic band were busy working on a new album, which is said to feature work from Malcolm Young. The late guitarist died in 2017 from early onset dementia.
This is the first time that we've heard of Brian Johnson being involved in the album, however. Never one to back down, apparently Johnson has been busy working with audio experts about his hearing problem - and the hard work seems to have payed off.
AC/DC's latest record 'Rock Or Bust' was released in 2014.
