She went from starring in one of the biggest TV shows of all time to one of the biggest blockbuster flops in recent years - but could Sophie Turner take on a pop icon next?
Having starred in recent box-office bomb 'X Men: Dark Phoenix', the young woman who grew up playing Sansa Stark in 'Game of Thrones' is an unusual choice for the androgynous pop star - but he reckons it could work.
Following the success of 'Bohemian Rhapsody' and 'Rocketman', a film about Boy George's life is in the works at MGM, although the lead role has yet to be cast. Speaking to an Australian radio station, the Culture Club frontman said: "One of the most interesting suggestions was Sophie Turner.
"It’s really strange but that’s been a suggestion I think that will upset people, which I really like... [people saying] “Oh she can’t play you, she’s a woman”. ‘But you know, when I was 17 I would have loved to have been her… that was the ambition."
Turner has not commented on the rumours herself, but she could certainly pick up a few musical pointers from her pop star husband Joe Jonas.
What d'you reckon - could she go from dealing with dragons to 'Karma Chameleon'?
