The Body & Soul festival will return to the grounds of Ballinlough Castle in Co. Westmeath this weekend (June 17th - 19th) after a two-year absence.
This year, it has also halved its numbers (to 5, 500 tickets) and 'doubled its curatorial content.'
If you're heading along, you'll find all the info you need below.
CAN I STILL BUY TICKETS?
Yes - at time of writing, general weekend camping tickets, and camping tickets for the 'Leave No Trace' campsite were still available for €250 plus booking fees. Saturday day tickets and Sunday day tickets (€80 plus booking fees) are also available. See here for tickets.
WHERE IS IT ON?
It's on at Ballinlough Castle, Clonmellon, Co. Westmeath. The nearest towns are Athboy and Delvin (both about 10 mins drive), while Mullingar is about 25 minutes' drive.
HOW DO I GET THERE?
Ballinlough Castle is about an hour's drive from Dublin city centre, via the M3 and N52. If you're driving, you don't need a car pass - parking is free.
If you're travelling by bus, there will be buses available from Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Galway - see here for more info. Single tickets are from €20, return tickets from €30.
If you're thinking of taking the train, the nearest station is Mullingar (25 minutes' drive from Ballinlough).
WHO'S PLAYING?
Some of the highlights include Roisin Murphy, Jon Hopkins, Sampa the Great, Mogwai, Pillow Queens, Cmat, Yves Tumor, Lee Fields, Sinead O'Brien and many more.
There's also the Hennessy Hip-House House, which is a stage that will showcase some of the finest talent in Irish hip-hop right now (we've been speaking to a few of them recently.)
WHAT'S THE WEATHER GOING TO BE LIKE?
According to Yr.no, Friday will be mostly cloudy, with no rain forecast. Early afternoon will be slightly windy.
Saturday is similarly cloudy with a hint of sunshine in the evening and temperatures of 14/15 degrees throughout the day.
Sunday is looking somewhat sunnier, with a cloudy spell in the afternoon.
But no rain forecast, woo hoo!
WHAT ABOUT THE STAGE TIMES?
You'll find them below:
WHAT CAN I NOT BRING WITH ME?
Glass bottles, illegal substances, weapons, fireworks, BBQs, megaphones, selfie sticks - the usual. You can see the full list of prohibited items here.
WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW?
Body & Soul is an over-21s festival. This year, the emphasis is on it being a festival for grown-ups - but you may bring under-12s (a maximum of two per adult with a weekend camping ticket) for free. Kids age 13 - 19 are not permitted, even with an adult. Families and children will be welcomed back in 2023.
There will, of course, be food stalls and bars on-site, but you can bring alcohol with you (each person is permitted either 24 X 500 ml cans of beer, cider or ready mix drinks or 1 X 750ml bottle of spirits, or 1.5 litre wine box). You are allowed to bring alcohol into the arena, but no glass bottles are allowed anywhere on the site.
Festival bars will be cashless, but traders will accept cash. But make sure you bring cash with you, as there will be no ATM on site - the festival is predominantly cashless this year.
